Our fifth annual "Friends Fur Life" pet food & supplies drive is shaping up to be the most successful yet, with big thanks to Mars Petcare US, its PEDIGREE® Brand, and PEDIGREE Foundation, which has once again stepped forward to help the animals of our community!

Last year Pedigree Foundation sponsored our Rescue Ride program, saving the lives of hundreds of dogs. Now they have donated over 800 pounds of pet food and treats for the senior citizens in our community and their companion animals!

It will be a luck-filled day this St. Patty's, as LCHS volunteers anticipate delivering pet food and supplies to more than 70 seniors and their 250 companion animals. Often, this kind of valuable assistance for a senior means the difference between keeping their pet and being forced to give them up due to financial concerns.

We are still in great need of all types of pet food, as well as specialty supplies, especially flea/tick prevention.

It's EASY to contribute to "Friends Fur Life"! When you're at the grocery store or vet office, pick up an extra bag of food on your way out! Have some unopened pet food you know your picky eater won't touch? Simply bring that food and any other treats, toys, beds, collars, leashes, shampoo, or other pet supply to one of the convenient drop-off sites located around Tallahassee.
