You know how parents have to constantly watch their small children because they put everything in their mouths? Well, bottle babies and kittens are no better… In fact, one of their favorite things to sample is their kitty litter. Dog Enrichment Toys - Still Needed! Donate »

Enrichment toys are vital for our foster pets. Our dogs and puppies especially benefit from safe, durable, high value chew toys. They make a such an amazing difference for foster dogs, most of whom are experiencing much more stress than an average pet.

Foster dogs need a healthy outlet for the anxiety that comes from having to adjust to many changes within a short amount of time. We've found these toys to be both highly motivating and safe for dogs in need of an outlet.

Because, let's face it, we have dozens of animals in and out of here everyday. Poop is bound to happen, and it has to get cleaned up. One of the ways we do that and keep our adoption areas sanitary and smelling attractive, is with Swiffer Sweeper Wet Mopping Cloths.

If you vote for clean floors, pick up a box or case the next time you go shopping, or donate $275 to cover the rest of the year, or $35 per month. We promise you'll appreciate it the next time you visit us!

HEPA Air Purifier - Still Needed! Donate »

HEPA Air Purifier

At the LCHS office, we are forever waging war against icky smells and nasty atmospheres. The better our kitty rooms smell, the easier it is for potential adopters to focus on the friendly, adorable cats looking for homes rather than the less-than-lovely smells those cats produce when in close proximity to each other.

An air purifier would not only help with the smells in our cat colony rooms, but also improve overall air quality and reduce allergens for both cats and human visitors.

We would LOVE to have one in each of our two cat free-roam rooms and in our brand new isolation room. This model would be perfect, or you may donate to offset the cost of the purchase for one or all three of the purifiers here.
